🥋 Registration & Class Size

Registration is done via email and confirmed upon payment.

Each class is limited to 12 students to ensure quality instruction and personal attention.

Once full, a waiting list will be maintained. You will be contacted as soon as a space becomes available.

A one-time registration fee of €20 is required when joining the Qi Gong + Tai Ji Quan classes.
📆 Class Schedule
The teaching year is divided into three training blocks, aligned with the Dutch school calendar (Regio Zuid):

Cycle 1: January until the May holidays

Cycle 2: From the end of the May holiday until the summer holidays
-
Cycle 3: From the end of the summer holidays until the Christmas holidays
There are no classes during school holidays. You will receive the exact dates and number of classes before the start of each Cycle.
🤝 Code of Conduct and Behavior

All students are expected to show respect and consideration toward instructors, fellow students, and the training environment.

Disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
-
The teacher reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently dismiss any student for behavior that endangers others, causes significant disruption, or violates safety and ethical standards.

Any expelled student is not entitled to a refund for missed classes.

By participating, you agree to contribute to a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
💶 Fees & Payment

Fees are calculated per Cycle, based on the number of planned classes.
-
Payment for all classes in the Cycle must be made in one single transaction, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
Payment is made in advance via bank transfer, following an invoice sent through SnelStart.

Prices per class:

Qi Gong / Tai Ji Quan (1 hour): €12.50
-
Kung Fu (1.5 hours): €15
-
Both classes in a row: discounted total

Your place is secured only after payment is received.
The registration fee and class fees are non-refundable (see exceptions below).
🥋 Membership to Federation Shun Wu Tang Europe for Kung Fu students

The tuition fee for participation in Kung Fu Shun Wu Tang classes is set at €15 per session of 1.5 hours.
-
In addition to the tuition fee, all students are required to hold a valid annual membership with the Shun Wu Tang European Federation.
-
The membership fee is €38 per calendar year and must be paid directly by the student to the Federation. Payment details will be provided upon registration.
-
Federation membership is mandatory and provides access to international official seminars, examinations, grading recognition, and participation within the broader Shun Wu Tang martial arts system.
-
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.
🔁 Missed Classes & Absences
-
Missed classes are not refunded or rescheduled.
-
Your payment secures your spot in the class for the entire Cycle.
-
In rare cases and with prior notice, a make-up class may be possible (if space allows).
🚪 Cancellation Policy - Refunds
-
If you wish to cancel your participation, please notify us at least 2 weeks before the start of the next Cycle.
-
If you stop in the middle of a Cycle, no refund will be given.
-
Refunds are only considered in cases of serious illness, injury, or exceptional personal circumstances.
🧾 Invoicing
-
Invoices are sent via SnelStart approximately 1 to 2 weeks before the start of each Cycle.
-
Payment is due before the first class of each Cycle.
-
Late or missing payment may result in your spot being given to a student on the waiting list.
🔁 Missed or late payments
-
In the event of a late or missed payment of fees, an email reminder will be issued.
-
If payment is not received within 14 calendar days of the reminder, the student may be temporarily suspended from participation in classes until the outstanding amount is settled in full.
-
Repeated failure to meet payment obligations may result in permanent exclusion from the program.
-
Non-payment of the annual Shun Wu Tang Federation membership fee for the students of Kung Fu, or failure to provide proof of payment may also lead to suspension from classes, as Federation membership is a mandatory condition of participation.
🧒 Minors

Students under 18 years old must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.
-
The parent/guardian accepts responsibility for the student’s conduct, payment, and compliance with these terms and conditions.
⚖️ Health & Liability Disclaimer

Participation in the classes is at the student’s own risk.
-
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the training.
-
If you have any doubts about your health, we advise you to consult your doctor before joining the classes.

By joining the class, you declare that you are fit for physical activity and understand the nature of the exercises involved.
-
In case of a medical emergency, you authorize the instructor to seek appropriate medical assistance on your behalf if you are unable to do so.
-
In the event of an accident or injury, the instructor will provide first aid within their capacity and contact emergency services if necessary.
-
The teacher and fellow participants cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or health-related issues that may occur during or as a result of participation in the class.
-
Appropriate care is taken to provide a safe environment, but each student remains responsible for their own well-being and safety during the training.

Please note that our club does not provide collective insurance; all students (or their parents/guardians in the case of minors) are responsible for arranging their own personal health, liability, and accident insurance.

Optional Insurance Coverage: As a student, you have the possibility to obtain additional insurance through the national federation ''Wushu Bond'' by registering as an individual member under the name of our club. The cost is €12 per year. This insurance is optional but highly recommended for students who wish to have extra coverage. 📸 Photos & Media

Occasionally, photos or short videos may be taken during classes or events for promotional or educational purposes.

Students who prefer not to appear in such media can notify the teacher in the registration form, and their preference will be fully respected.
📢 Communication

Important updates (such as schedule changes or cancellations) are communicated via email or messenger.

By registering, you agree to receive such essential notifications.

You may unsubscribe from non-essential newsletters at any time.
🔐 Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data will be used solely for scheduling, communication, and invoicing.

Any health-related or personal information will be handled confidentially.

Your personal information is handled with care and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG/GDPR). It will never be shared with third parties without your prior authorization.

❗ Right of Withdrawal

As per Dutch consumer law, you have the right to cancel your registration within 14 days of confirming it via email.

If classes begin within that 14-day period, you agree to waive this right at the time of payment.
🌪️ Force Majeure

In the event of teacher illness, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events (force majeure), classes may be cancelled or rescheduled. Any cancelled classes under such circumstances will be handled fairly in consultation with participants.

If the class is full or the time doesn’t suit you, feel free to ask about classes offered by trusted colleagues in the area. We’re happy to help you find the right fit.
📝 Changes to Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. Any changes will be communicated via email and published on our website. Continued participation after notification implies acceptance of the revised terms.
⚖️ Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.

Any disputes arising from participation or interpretation of these terms shall be handled by the competent court in the Netherlands.
